Stories, thoughts and reflections on the Bible from the WSFC Staff.

This weekend we celebrate Labor Day and usher in the unofficial end of Summer.  It’s a time when activities start to ramp up, calendars start to be filled, kids are sent back into their classrooms and we pack up all of the white clothes we own.  It’s hard work, but it’s good work.
And while you have plenty in your lives that requires hard work, there is one thing you will never have to strive for; and that is Father God’s love for YOU.
He loves you while you are caught in your sin just as much as when you are wandering back to Him.
He loves you when you question Him just as much as when you declare His goodness.
He loves you when you’re trying to impress Him just as much as when simply sit at His feet and listen.
And He loves YOU just as much as He loves His own son Jesus.
So while you’re catching your breath this three day weekend, remember to set your thoughts on how much you are loved, how unchanging that love is and how liberating that love can be.
We’ll see you Sunday as we continue in our series on the 7 Pillars of Wisdom from the Book of Proverbs.
