Stories, thoughts and reflections on the Bible from the WSFC Staff.

I’m writing this on Tuesday, November 3.

Before things get all crazy up in here…

Before many of us sit down to an evening of riveting cable news and pundit predications…

Before the last polls close…

Before our social networks blow up (oh, wait, that’s been happening already!)…

Before the Presidency is determined for the next four years…

Let me remind you of something I said this last weekend, both online and in-person:

Whoever becomes President, Jesus is (and remains) KING.  Regardless of who occupies the Oval Office, Jesus sits on the Throne.

The hope of the world will not be recognized through the November 3 election, although it does have immense ramifications, rather, the hope of the world will be demonstrated and proclaimed through the Kingdom of God, whose King is JESUS.

So, everyone, take a breath. Political leaders come and go, but through every election, through every year, every century, and every millennium, Jesus is (and remains) KING.

Grace and Peace to you.

Pastor John
