Stories, thoughts and reflections on the Bible from the WSFC Staff.
This morning I woke up with a phrase running through my head.
Over and over and over and over.
It wasn’t nagging or bothersome like a song lyric that won’t quit looping ad nauseam. You know, like the entire FROZEN soundtrack (Love is an open dooooooooooooor). Boy, I wish I could just “Let It Go.”
What I’m referring to is a reassuring phrase that has the power to set my day into a proper motion and mission. A phrase that is both truth and triumphant.
The phrase that became my wake up call today is:
Jesus. Is. Lord.
Did you catch it? Jesus Is Lord.
That’s really good news.
So as you go about your day, and invariably face various challenges, keep this in mind: Jesus is Lord.
The Scripture affirms this when it says: “God has exalted him [Jesus] and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
Today…let’s live as if Jesus IS Lord!
