HELLO FRIENDS: 02.13.14 – Psalm 73:26

Hello Friends,

Snowmaggedon.

Polar Vortex.

Snowpocalypse.

Whatever you call it, it was here, but now it’s gone. Came and went. Started out fresh, clean and white and ended up dirty, wet and slushy. I’m taking some liberty with Ecclesiastes 3 but I’m convinced there is a “time for it to snow, and a time for it to melt.”

That’s how it goes. Nothing lasts forever.

Except God.

Psalm 73:26 says “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength (rock) of my heart and my portion forever.”

Catch that?

Forever.

We will fail. Others will fail us. But God is a ROCK that is strong forever.

Lean on him. He’s strong enough.

Amen?

Blessings,

Pastor John
