Stories, thoughts and reflections on the Bible from the WSFC Staff.
“Lord, how shall [each of us] cleanse our way? By careful, intentional steps of growth according to the Word of the Lord. Your Word have I hid in my heart, so that I might not sin against You. Teach me Your ways.” Psalm 119:9 – 10 (paraphrased)
Did you know that this is a season of spiritual “plowing and planting” for our church family? Ahead of the season when our valley farmers and orchardists will begin to turn the soil and plant new crops, WSFC has begun a season of soul-development. You are welcome to enter the field and grow. There are discipleship classes on a range of vital subjects. Come join with friends each Tuesday at the church, 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Childcare is provided up through 5th grade, so you can bring the kids for just $2 each.
Sandy and I are leading “Seven Steps of Prayer”, a walk through The Lord’s Prayer focused on awakening our daily conversation with our Lord. We find that many of us truly want to overcome a hesitancy about prayer, and learn to discern the voice of the Lord speaking through the Scriptures into our own lives. You are welcome to join our circle throughout this winter season on Tuesday evenings at 6:30.
You want to grow closer to the Lord Jesus. Make this your season to grow.
