Stories, thoughts and reflections on the Bible from the WSFC Staff.
As September begins at WSFC, here are some important things to know…
Sunday, September 4: Let’s get together this Sunday morning (8:30, 10:00, 11:30 am) for praise, prayer, love for one another, and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastors John and Denise Fehlen are back with us this Sunday morning.
Wednesday, September 7, 6:30 to 8:00 pm: FIRST WEDNESDAY for prayer, ministry to one another, and inspiration. We inaugurate a “new tradition” at WSFC, open to the entire congregation. FIRST WEDNESDAY, 6:30 to 8:00 pm, with childcare provided. This year Pastor John has been growing in an emphasis on prayer. FIRST WEDNESDAY is a further step in that growth. Jesus calls His Church “a house of prayer for the nations”. Let’s grow in prayer, according to His promises…
“Call upon Me and I will answer,
and show you great and mighty things
which you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3).
“Everyone who calls upon
the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
you shall ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7,8)
Dinner for Eight. A memorable way to start the new season. More information in the church lobby when you arrive. Be a host or a guest. Either way, it will be a blessing.
New discipleship classes and groups. Whether you choose a Tuesday class on campus, or a home group fellowship convenient for you, the small group experience is the way for you to connect and grow in the Lord. Info and opportunities are available in the next few weeks.
It’s a great new season. A season of love and blessings!
Thankful to serve you,
